Rental terms
Below are the main rental terms. The specific terms of your rental (car, dates, pickup point, deposit, insurance and extras) are fixed in the Rental Agreement and the Handover Act.
Driver and documents
- Driver age — from 21 (a young-driver surcharge may apply).
- Documents: passport, national driving licence and an International Driving Permit (IDP).
Deposit and insurance
- Vehicle deposit — from 5,000 THB.
- No deposit — with the “Extended insurance coverage” option.
- All cars are insured; coverage and liability are set out in the agreement.
Mileage and territory
- Mileage is unlimited within the permitted territory: Phuket, Phang Nga, Krabi.
Fuel and washing
- The car is returned with the same fuel level; missing fuel is charged at 50 THB per litre.
- If additional washing is needed on return — 500 THB.
Delivery and time
- Delivery and return at Phuket Airport — free during business hours (daily 08:30–19:30).
- Delivery across island areas — per tariff (e.g. Patong ฿500, Kata/Karon ฿600).
- Pickup or return outside business hours — a surcharge from 500 THB.
Extras
- Child seat, baby capsule, Isofix seat — as an extra service.
- Young driver — a surcharge of ฿300–600.
